Adrienne Lawrence is currently writing Women Create Wealth and has released the first chapter, available for complimentary download.
Adrienne is the founder and managing director of Her Financial Partner, LLC, where she works closely with women to create clear, personalized financial plans that fit their lives. She believes financial planning should feel thoughtful, supportive, and empowering, not overwhelming or impersonal. It should feel like sitting down with someone who understands both the numbers and the life behind them.
Before launching her firm in Washington, D.C., Adrienne worked at Navy Federal Credit Union as a licensed mortgage specialist, notary public, and IRA and trust specialist, supporting members across the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. She began her career as an insurance agent, working with labor union members and their families.
Adrienne specializes in helping women navigate their finances with clarity and confidence, whether building wealth, caring for family, or planning for what comes next. Her approach is grounded in partnership and trust, with a focus on helping each client feel informed, capable, and in control. She believes the right financial guidance can quietly transform not just your finances, but the way you move through the world.
Adrienne serves as co-chair of the Foggy Bottom West End Main Street Advisory Board. She's also a vice chair of the Washington Capital Regional Executive Board, chair of the Events and Communications Committee for the D.C. board of How Women Lead. Adrienne also volunteers with Miriam's Kitchen, a D.C. nonprofit working to end chronic homelessness.
Adrienne previously was a committee member of Women WHO Opera, supporting the Washington National Opera (WNO) and an active patron of the arts. She was a member of the How Women Lead's #GetOnBoard Leadership Committee. Adrienne previously served on the Neighborhood Relationship Committee for her building and the Events Committee for the University of Oxford Society of Washington, D.C. Adrienne has also served on the Membership Committee with the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Washington, D.C., and as a past president of another AAF chapter. Earlier in her career as a journalist, Adrienne served on several non-profit boards, including the Journalism and Women’s Symposium.
With a lifelong love of numbers and a natural ability to understand complex systems, Adrienne draws on her background in journalism to make financial concepts clear and approachable.
She was a Coca-Cola Scholar at Hood College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a minor in web development. She also studied literature at St. Peter’s College at Oxford University. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Adrienne graduated from San Antonio College with an Associate of Arts in liberal arts through the Presidential Honors Program, where she competed nationally and earned multiple awards as a member of the Speech Team.
Adrienne studied music as a soprano, which sparked a lifelong love of the arts, especially music. In her spare time, she enjoys creative projects, collects vinyl records, and is always eager to learn something new. She especially enjoys experiencing the arts in Washington, D.C., often with friends.
